Imported Furniture Delays
Like many other retailers that rely on global shipping, 1825 interiors has been affected by sea freight delays caused by the pandemic.
As a result, there will be further delays on select items, especially products that are made in China.
Furthermore, freight forwarders have reduced the number of container ships coming to Australia which has exacerbated the situation.
Most of our products are made in our factory in Vietnam. Although Vietnam is no longer in lockdown, it will take time for production and shipping to catch up.
We continue to do everything we possibly can to minimise delays for our customers, including paying premium prices for higher-priority containers and sourcing alternative delivery routes.
When quoting lead times, our staff do so based on the shipping situation at the time. It is never our intention to mislead customers.
1825 interiors understands that shipping delays are both frustrating and inconvenient and we sincerely apologise.
Rest assured we will continue to provide all current and future customers with regular, updated delivery estimates as the situation changes.
Australian-made Furniture Delays
Our custom-made products are made in Sydney which is currently in lockdown. Longer than normal lead times are being experienced as the factory is operating with minimal staff.
Until we know when lockdown will be lifted, unfortunately cannot provide a lead time for delivery. However, we do guarantee it will be worth the wait!
